La Bete
It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong. - Voltair
To be jostled out of the frame, art fallen onto a new canvas of reality. With its humour and tragedy.
Each character abstracted. Each truth, each lesson and belief represented, in composition. Like a tickle trunk upended. With only one standing from the inside looking in, Dorine; who it begins and ends with. The world envolopes us, suffocates us in the tapestry of performance, in the dysfunctional, excess of bourgoise pageantry; appeased by the artist, hungry.
